Twenty five minutes or less: Julia Child, Bob Ross and Mister Rogers remix tributes

“Cooking, cooking, keep on cooking. This is the way to live.”

This video made the rounds earlier this year as Julia Child’s 100th’s birthday approached. When I saw the words “Julia Child” and “autotune” in the same sentence, I cringed, but Ian finally convinced me to watch it.

A minute and a half in, I was on the brink of tears (and I only consider myself a casual JC fan.)

Then we stumbled upon the Mister Rogers remix:

But this Bob Ross remix (“This is your world. You’re the creator. Have freedom on this canvas.”) moved me enough to pick up some paints this week:

I don’t wish an early death on Rick Steves and LeVar Burton, but I can’t wait to see their words of widsom rehashed (yes, even with autotune) to convey their message to a younger generation.
