Between wrangling two young sons, writing about food for the local daily newspaper, growing food in her backyard garden in Austin and being a feminist in her own kitchen, Addie uses the Feminist Kitchen as a platform to write about the sometimes sticky and always changing intersection of where women and food meet.
She founded the site in May 2010, and in summer 2011, added a book club + film series group, which meets once a month.
For Addie’s non-gendered look at food, check out Relish Austin, the food blog she writes for the Austin American-Statesman. Interested in writing a guest post on the Feminist Kitchen? E-mail her at email@example.com.
