Addie Broyles

Between wrangling two young sons, writing about food for the local daily newspaper, growing food in her backyard garden in Austin and being a feminist in her own kitchen, Addie uses the Feminist Kitchen as a platform to write about the sometimes sticky and always changing intersection of where women and food meet.

She founded the site in May 2010.

Caroline Jann

Caroline Jann escaped to warmer weather after finishing her BA in English at the University of Michigan.  She earned her culinary certificate from Le Cordon Bleu, Austin and has been switching between a chef’s knife and ballpoint pen ever since. She blogs about food, travel-eating and working in kitchens at CarolineJann.com and is the coordinators of the Feminist Kitchen book club + film series.
